I was so grateful to find the iconic Penn State Grilled Stickies at the Pennsylvania General Store. I sent them to a friend for his birthday. Most places require purchasing a case of 12 boxes--way too many. I was able to get two boxes--just enough. What impressed me was the phone call I received from the customer service department. Because the stickie buns are perishable, they wanted to delay packing and shipping from Friday until Monday so they wouldn't sit in a warehouse over the weekend and arrive stale or moldy. This showed me that they know their products and care about their customers.
