I grew up with Tastykakes but couldn't get them when I moved to San Diego (in 1979). I still love them, and now I can get them!
I grew up in Altoona. I remember Tastycake pies and cakes being the best that you could enjoy and they still are today. I live in California now and miss not having the pies readily available. There is nothing out here that comes close.
